Parental Involvement
- Our committee of management consists of parent representatives, the centre director and a representative from the City of Moonee Valley.
- Room representatives are appointed annually to foster parental and family interactions.
- The involvement and feedback of parents is valued and essential in providing high quality childcare.
- All users of the centre are expected to contribute in some way to the ongoing work of the centre as per the community participation program. E.g. attend working bees, respond to requests, attend meetings, offer ideas and assist in implementation.
- As a non-profit organisation we put funds back into our programs to continually improve our services with parents having the opportunity to be involved in the decisions. Parents have input into decisions and policies which affect the care of their children.
- Parents influence financial management decisions to ensure all resources are utilised to maintain quality.
