With the goal of further developing MPCC and fostering the community nature of our centre, the MPCC Committee voted to introduce a compulsory participation levy at the beginning of 2008. The main aim of the Participation Levy is to promote community participation in the centre.

The annual participation levy of $100 per family is payable upon enrolment. $50 of this levy will be reimbursed to families that contribute to the centre. The remaining $50 will be used to assist in the development of the centre and its programmes.

The aim of introducing a non-refundable portion of the levy is to greatly reduce the need for internal fundraisers, therefore freeing time and providing funding for the development of the centre and its programmes.

Reimbursement will occur at intervals in the calendar year. These are set as June and November each year.

How do you Qualify for Reimbursement?
Each family is responsible for the completion of their own reimbursement form. Click here to download the form. This form is to be lodged at the MPCC office. You may choose either to receive a direct deposit into your bank account for the sum of $50 or have $50 credited to your account for fees.

Reimbursement will be at the discretion of the Committee of Management and any requests for exemption should be forwarded in writing to the Committee.

The Committee of Management commit to providing varied and adequate opportunities for all families to contribute to the centre if they wish. The following contributions have been given as a guide to activities that will qualify for reimbursement.

  • Committee Membership (Maximum 15 members)
